Bug Description

There are no way to register a new distribution on https://launchpad.net/distros :(

I'm main developer of Ubuntu-based distribution Baltix (http://linux.akl.lt/baltix ) and I wanna to register Baltix distribution on https://launchpad.net/distros, but I can't find how to do this :(

The page to register a new distribution is at https://launchpad.net/distros/+add, but I don't think it's linked anywhere yet.

It's not a very useful page at the moment; you can't really handle derivatives in production Soyuz yet. I'd suggest registering a product and when derivation is opened (which is more than six months away) moving bugs and translations over (using some predefined form of moving).

Kiko: should we file a bug on a method to move bugs and translations from products to distributions?

Or would it be better to allow people to create distributions and worry about linking them to the ones they derive from later?

I don't have time to work on this, and for now, there hasn't been great demand to register new distros.

Please, let other distros to use launchpad at least for bug tracking. Without having an ability to register releases or milestones launchpad can't be used as bug tracking system for other distros (e.g. Elbuntu, Fluxbuntu, Baltix - look at https://launchpad.net/distros )
