Bug Description

I received, via the mailing list that is the contact address for a team I'm in, an e-mail notification as follows:
------------
Hello Canonical Desktop Experience Team,

The membership status of Canonical Desktop Experience Team (dx-team) in
the team Ubuntu Bug Control (ubuntu-bugcontrol) was changed by Brian
Murray (brian-murray) from Proposed to Declined.
<https://edge.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-bugcontrol>
------------

Launchpad should either assume it's writing to the actual team concerned, or assume it isn't.

If it assumes it is (which I would prefer), it shouldn't say "The membership status of Canonical Desktop Experience Team (dx-team)"; it should say "Your membership status".

Conversely, if it assumes it isn't, it shouldn't say "Hello Canonical Desktop Experience Team", it should say "Hello".

I agree. It's repetitive and should be corrected.
