Bug Description

assume I want to create a list of many package, I would have to visit each page in the package. such "mass subscription" could be handled by search for an regexp describing package or maintainer names (the Debian ones), and then click to each package you want to describe to.

Probably the access point for this would be the distribution equivalent of structural subscriptions for individual packages. For example if packages had a "Subscribe to this package" link in the top right, the distribution as a whole would have a "Subscribe to packages..." link in the top right, opening a form for selecting the packages you were interested in.

I must admit I don't like the idea of letting users write their own regexps for subscriptions. Would subscribing to tags be a good way to handle this for example (for bug tags, or for tags on packages, if we had such a thing)?
