People answering support questions get no karma

Bug Description

Support requests tend to be the same fiddly things over and over again:
"Why doesn't sound work?"
"How do I get these binary drivers to work?"
"Why doesn't my hardware out last week work?"
"Something's wrong"
"Why won't it work"
"If this doesn't work I'm going back to Windows"
"What's the meaning of life?"

It's a thankless task and the people answering these queries get no karma. Surely they should be given something given that they absorb more "raw newbie" problems than the regular bug tracker will? Don't get me started on IRC...

(I don't have a vested stake in this - after having a quick look at the support area and going on IRC I'm definitely sticking to only malone)

I agree with the reporter - karma is a measure of Launchpad activity and as such should include the support system.
