The functionality would be identical (from my point of view) to the currently existing feeds for bugs attached to a milestone (like this: http://
I would find this quite useful (my use-case is having 3 members of a 20 or so person team paying attention to one subset of bugs, 2 of the people being not-quite-hackers and needing to ignore the vast majority of bug emails from the project)
