Bug Description
Before a day or two ago, I could verify that PPA keys I found around on keyservers were actually from Launchpad. Now I have no such luxury; the fingerprint is no longer available. While just the key ID does look nicer, the lack of initial signatures on the key makes them now practically useless. There needs to be a way to retrieve the fingerprint over SSL from Launchpad.

The fingerprint appears in the link target, is that not enough?
