When making two posts at the same time information is mixed

I was working with and looking at multiple separate questions and decided to respond to one with an Information Request. My network was very slow at the time since I was downloading some updates and other things. I opened a new question to look at while responding to another in a background tab. The new question I had opened had "Thanks for the information request" instead of the background tab that actually did that information request. The new tab had no history associated with it.
