Wrong number of items to translate

In brazilian portuguese translation of Dapper distribution, the number of items to translate shown in page https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/dapper/+lang/pt_BR seems wrong.
I took a quick look on the packages still to translate, and it is way too far from the 100,000 item said to be untranslated.
Is this correct?

This makes it difficult for people to start a translation if the package has no translation to the language at all, or to get an idea of what needs to be done.

In Slovak translations is the same problem:

Maybe it's not a bug but feature. Very bad feature :).
