Temporary "Could not install revisions" error

After I pushed lp:~jml/launchpad/branch-info up for the first time, the web page for the branch (https://code.edge.launchpad.net/~jml/launchpad/branch-info) showed an error:

    Could not install revisions: <email address hidden>

and the branch was in the state "This branch has not been pushed to yet" (I think).

When I asked Michael to look at the page, the error was gone and the branch was in the "not scanned yet" state.

This probably generated an OOPS.

This error still occurs regularly, e.g. OOPS-1210SMPU11.

I'll ask the Bazaar team about it on Monday.

I don't have any immediate insight, except that it's a shame that bzrlib is throwing away the original NoSuchRevision traceback to generate that InstallFailed traceback.

OK. I've sent a patch to the original mailing list changing bzrlib so that it doesn't throw away that traceback.

Well that landed, so we don't get this error any more. I don't know if the underlying problem remains, but I guess that should be another report.
