Cross-linking a bug with related bugs

I'd like to request a way to cross-link a bug report with other related bugs.

Currently, I have to add an explicit comment that says

   "Take a look at Bug #42 which is related"

The problem is that this creates an uni-directed link, only. I.e. it does
not link Bug #42 to the link I added the comment to.

Hence my proposal to add a special cross-linking feature which would
interlink all bugs involved.

It's an interesting idea, although it's hard to model because they can be linked for all kinds of reasons.

I think that this might be a nice thing to have, but only if you can mark the relationship between the bugs in some way (like you do with duplicates, for example). Otherwise the fact that the bugs are related doesn't actually tell you that much.

Perhaps, alternatively, make it possible to submit a comment to several bug entries at once.
So you can write

   "Bug #Foo is related to Bug #Bar because both affect the function frob_database
    in file db.c.

    Bug #Foo is also related to Bug #Quux because when fixing #Quux you have to
    make sure not to make #Foo any worse."

And this will create a shared comment on #Foo, #Bar, #Quux.

I'm going to mark this as Won't Fix.

Whilst this could be useful, it would be more useful to add a means to explicitly specify relationships and dependencies (bug 95419) between bugs (dependencies follow on naturally from relationships; it's just a matter of specifying the type of relationship), rather than adding a specific syntax that users would need to use in comments to be able to create such a relationship.
