Cannot track bugs in Google issues tracker

Some upstream projects are hosted on http://code.google.com/, and use an issues tracker hosted their for their bug tracking. However, Launchpad cannot track bugs hosted at http://code.google.com/. One such example is this one: http://code.google.com/p/musictracker/issues/detail?id=34. This bug is currently open in Launchpad, but I can't use Launchpad to track the status of the upstream report.
