launchpad claims a key is expired when it's not

Bug Description

I tried to associate the archive sync key with my account (as part of the Soyuz rolllout) but it refused to do so claiming the key had expired. However the key's expiry date was updated and the updated key sent to the keyserver and fetching the key from the keyserver shows the new expiry date.

$ gpg --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-key 0C12BDD7 ; gpg --list-key 0C12BDD7

Did you update the key expiry date before or after first trying to associate the key with an account?

If you updated the key afterwards, it is possible that you are experiencing bug 3052.

Sorry for not replying earlier - I'm not 100% sure, but I strongly suspect I was trying to associate the key with an account after the expiry date.
