I want to get rid of some deactivated keys. I have a lot left over from when I was learning them a long time ago and don't have revocation certs anymore.

That's not possible, though. All one can do is deactivate a key.

Is there any reason for not allowing gpg keys to be deleted?

Launchpad does not support deletion of data. In every case I can think of, the data is marked as inactive. I think we may want to hide deactivated keys.

I thing adding a voice "show hidden keys" in the gpg page is a good soluction for this.
