"The bug supervisor for <some object> has been subscribed to this bug" is misleading, incomplete, and/or a lie

Bug Description

Launchpad always advises me that "The bug supervisor for <some object> has been subscribed to this bug" when I alter the structural object that a task references. It's untrue for multiple reasons:
 - It's an implicit subscription;
 - There isn't always a bug supervisor for the object;
 - The bug supervisor might have opted out of subscriptions;
 - Many other people could have also been implicitly subscribed; and
 - Any implicit subscriptions from the old object have been removed.
