Error when no branch for a series is less than helpful

Hi,

Seb just tried to use lp:gvfs, but there was no branch for the series at the time,
and that is exactly what he was told. However, someone that doesn't know
launchpad wouldn't know what that would mean. Firstly, this message should
be more clear about the problem, and what the fix might be. Secondly, it
would be great to add a link to a page on which you could fix it, and failing that
a help page about the issue.

There is an antipattern documented somewhere about trying to do root cause analysis in program errors, that said, I agree that linking to docs would be better than simply giving the error. This can be done server side quite easily.
