Bug Description
Original question and answer are below (converted from question to bug).
Most medium sized open source projects have a wiki. The benefit of this could be expanded to those who do not wish to set up a wiki elsewhere for whatever reason (privacy, time, etc). Launchpad should be able to host wikis.

This is kind of a feature request. Sorry if it has been proposed before.
I use Launchpad because of several -Ubuntu-related projects like many of us. But, I have recently created a couple of small projects that would benefit from 1 small wiki page for additional info but really don't belong on the Ubuntu wiki.
I can see great benefit from a https:/

Well, currently, yes. But there are a large number of free wiki hosting
services you can use as a workaround; I like wiki.is myself.
This is one of the projects we'll be considering for starting post-July.
I second this. The possible added value (WRT other free wiki hosting services) would be integration with bzr and bug tracking, like in trac.
