Bug Description
The imports page also doesn't make it clear whether one should have add /trunk to the end of the Subversion URL. It does say that only trunk will be imported, but that doesn't help with entering the right URL.
See https:/
"The URL of a Subversion branch, starting with svn:// or http(s)://. Only trunk branches are imported."

Well... not all branches actually end in trunk. Some SVN repos are organized with trunk at the top, module under, so you have
svn:/ /repo.com/ trunk/projectna me /repo.com/ branches/ 1.0/projectname
svn:/
How could we do much better here? I think the UI is actually not that bad right now!
