In bugs.launchpad.net you can't access the advanced form to search for bugs in a specific product or related to a specific person.

Wow I never realized that, thanks for reporting this bug, will see what can be done here. It does make sense to have advanced search in different projects, because not many bugs really belong to Ubuntu directly, they all are handled by different projects say for example the desktop-team and so on. So I don't know if implementing this on the malone page would do any good.
