OOPS - Can't delete branch merge proposal or branch.

I am trying to delete my lp:~msapiro/mailman/cull_bad_shunt branch. I follow the 'Delete branch' link and get a message that its merge proposal must be deleted, so I open the proposal, follow the 'Delete proposal to merge' link (Url <https://code.launchpad.net/~msapiro/mailman/cull_bad_shunt/+merge/342/+delete>) and click 'Delete proposal'. I get the following error:

If I try to just delete the branch without successfully deleting the merge proposal (at <https://code.launchpad.net/~msapiro/mailman/cull_bad_shunt/+delete>), I get a similar message with (Error ID: OOPS-896C1850). I have tried this a few times over the last week or so with always the same result, except the 'Error ID' changes - I guess it relates to the specific occurrence rather than an error type.
