gscan2pdf-0.9.24-0gutsy1 builds OK in PPA, but no deb created

I initially uploaded gscan2pdf-0.9.24 to hardy. No problem.

I copied the package to gutsy, and launchpad reported that it had built OK. Unfortunately, no deb was added to the gutsy repo.

I then uploaded gscan2pdf-0.9.24-0gutsy1 to gutsy, which built OK, and the log reported creating a deb, but it was not added to the gutsy repo.

First, source-only copies should not be allowed within PPAs when it already has published binaries. They won't be published because they have the same name but different contents ... long story see bug #225331.

I don't understand. I bumped the version number - just as I would have
done, say, if I had found a packaging error in the original. So the
name is different.

What about http://ppa.launchpad.net/jeffreyratcliffe/ubuntu/pool/main/g/gscan2pdf/gscan2pdf_0.9.24-0gutsy1_all.deb ? is this the package you are looking for ?

As you see from the time stamp, it was created much later than the
other file, and wasn't present immediately after the build was
reported finished, when I reported the bug.

It is also now correctly referenced in
http://ppa.launchpad.net/jeffreyratcliffe/ubuntu/dists/gutsy/main/binary-i386/Packages.

Did you change anything to get this to happen, or is a time delay
expected between the build finishing and the repo being updated?

No, I haven't changed anything. Based on http://ppa.launchpad.net/jeffreyratcliffe/ubuntu/pool/main/g/gscan2pdf/, the binary was created 2:20 after its source, which looks pretty sane to me.
