automatic emails should be sent to the reporters of old bugs

Bug Description

There are many, many bug reports that have been fixed a loooong time ago but the reporters just care about them or forget them. The reporters should be told when they're reporting a bug that they should not just report it and leave it alone but they should treat it as their baby child, retest the bug from time to time especially when a new version of Ubuntu comes out. And even if nobody ever looked at their bug they should close them on their own if the bug has been fixed. So everyone should update his report twice a year at least. This request should be added on the bug reporting page.

There are bugs without any subscribers. Those bugs should be set to invalid automatically, because nobody care about them and the original reporter won't provide anymore information.

Thanks.

I have an even better idea! Automatic emails should be sent to the reporters of old bugs to update their reports! Many people just forget about it and they should be reminded.
