Should describe branch status better

Bug Description
Currently, the status of a branch is shown in the "current details" menu, which is not prominently placed on the page. I suggest that a description is added under the branch title, indicating the status. Possible strings could be:
* Beware, this branch is experimental.
* This branch has been abandoned; no further work is expected on it.
* This branch has been merged into <branch>.

Having these descriptions would certainly make statuses more useful.
Myself, I think that branch statuses should be rethought now that we have more sophisticated listing UIs and more information about individual branches. e.g. a lot of the time Launchpad knows when a branch has been merged.
