Hi,

Any chance of Launchpad adding git tags for revisions of charms published to charm store?

Fwiw, the reason for this request is so that the details on https://releases.juju.is/?team=IS can be populated (obviously would apply to any other teams using Launchpad to build charms).

I'm not sure I'm comfortable with Launchpad doing automatic tagging for every revision it builds; that seems like a lot, and quite weird. Can you explain why it wouldn't just make sense for the people who own the repository to apply a tag, perhaps when releasing a new revision to stable?
