search finds unhelpful results (global search or code search)

When looking for cdlint on Launchpad global search, we get results for cloud-init and Clint Byrum as first two results. When looking for the same keyword on code search, there is no result at all.

There is a cdlint.py filename in a canonical-sysadmins-owned project (private).

I feel like code search could be improved to look for filenames too, or even search for keywords inside hosted code itself ?

Also, search results based on alterations of the keywords should appear as secondary search results. For example LP could show:

Your search yielded 0 direct results.
