Bug Description
As a person who manages private projects/teams, it is not uncommon for a team member to reach out to me and ask why they can't seem to access a page anymore. My answer to that FAQ is "Look in the upper right of your browser page. Is it a link to Log in? If so, you are logged out and need to click that link to login first".
Launchpad does provide a message warning the user that they may be logged out and need to login. But my experience shows that some users aren't reading this "fine print". Perhaps we could just present the with a shiny login button in this case?
