Karma: Change in Launchpad karma settings?

Could the Karma settings be changed to reflect the completion of an entire package translated in Ubuntu Translations? Completing each and every translation for each package reflect as extra karma points. Some individuals skip from one translation to another, this is fine. My self start a the first translation and complete each and every one to the very last translation for each and every package I accomplish.

Recently I have been translating language for Ubuntu 7 days a week. My Karma score keeps declining.
As well I have been Answering questions on Ubuntu.
The Karma Score has not reflected work done. These are trying times with the virus. Why are we declining the Karma Score for hard diligent work accomplished during these trying times. This is only a slap in the face more or less. These are only a few. This has been happening for years.
Very discouraging. This needs to be checked. Especially for the individuals that are uploading code for the next Ubuntu release. Karma should reflect the input of work being accomplished.

Notice that between 2021-04-02 and 2021-04-11. Their are 7 days that I translated language with out getting karma points for the input of work.
I translate at least 100 translations each day.

Missing 2021-04-13 to 2021-04-29 translations that were completed. That is 15 days of missing translations. Total thus far is 28 days of translations not tabulated, which equals 2,800 translations at a minimum.

You have the highest karma score of any human contributing to Ubuntu right now (exceeded only by a Lubuntu bot account), so I don't think you're too hard done by! Karma is a highly approximate score at best and only meant as a very rough guide; it intentionally decays over time to give newer contributors the chance to catch up to long-term contributors.

I don't think there's a compelling reason to give a bonus for completing the last translation in a template as such; somebody who's done the work to translate an entire template should already have been awarded a substantial amount of karma for that, and we don't really want to get into the business of adjudicating which kinds of translation work are more valuable than others. (Besides, I'd be somewhat concerned that working out whether the translation is complete at that particular point could easily cause additional timeouts, which are already a problem in Launchpad Translations.)

However, it would be a good idea to track down if there's a systemic problem that's causing karma assignment for translations to fail, as seems to be the case in the time periods you identified. We probably wouldn't go back and fill those in necessarily, but perhaps there's a problem there that can be fixed for the future.
