Bug Description

Creating a new snap from https://code.launchpad.net/~username/source/snap/+new-snap , the default architectures selected are amd64 and i386. Since i386 has been discontinued outside of multiarch purpose in Ubuntu and is increasingly not supported by upstream does it still make sense to build snaps on it by default?

This is unfortunately not a default setting that's limited by type of build (or possibly even by series), so it would have to change it for the entire platform.

That's something we'll get to eventually, but it's obviously a bigger impact.

I'll leave this open to track it though.

We probably do need to change this, but it's a bit tricky since at the moment the selection of which architectures to build by default is build-farm-wide - not specific to a single build type, and I think not even series-specific.
