2008-03-12 19:36:52 Christian Reis description We have converted PackageBugContact to StructuralSubscription, on the assumption that the two are identical, but the bug contact relation is used for more than just subscription, and the terminology is getting confusing. Also, the behaviour is subtly different - since it's possible to unsubscribe from notifications (but in such cases we probably want to keep the bug contact, as we do with other structural objects). One option would be to create a duplicate record, one in StructuralSubscription and one in PackageBugcontact We have converted PackageBugContact to StructuralSubscription, on the assumption that the two are identical, but the bug contact relation is used for more than just subscription, and the terminology is getting confusing. This bug covers creating a DistributionSourcePackage table, and adding to it a bug supervisor role which would have the same security semantics as a Distribution or Product bug supervisor, except restricted to bugs on that package.
