1. Mark a bug report as a duplicate.
What should happen: The resulting page contains a notification confirming your duplicate marking, including the bug summary (so you can be sure you entered the correct bug number).
What actually happens: Nothing.
This bug is difficult to notice because of bug 136510, where duplicate bug report pages contain something that looks like a notification but is not. |
When marking a bug report as a duplicate, the summary of the master bug is not shown at any point in the process.
This makes it hard for users to be sure they chose the right bug (e.g. that they didn't drop a digit in copy-paste or whatever).
