Error while trying to create git repo

While trying to push a repo (prior to a merge proposal) I'm getting an "unexpected error":

fatal: remote error: An unexpected error has occurred while creating a Git repository. Please report a Launchpad bug and quote: OOPS-ba29df5785f9df6c7a686fa005740e03.

I believe this worked last week :-)

Any hints as to what I might be doing wrong?

...but interestingly, I can push to one that's already been created:
