Bug Description

This follows on from bug #158455 - When displaying matching bugs in +filebug, don't display duplicates.

After a short discussion he suggested the following:

Sounds like a good idea :)

The proposal in bug 30307 would solve the same problem, without needing any difference in behavior between the duplicate suggestions and normal bug search results.

I just got bit by this and think it would be a great idea. The canonical (that's lower case canonical) bug that I was reporting had a poor description but a traceback that I didn't notice was identical to my own. When I start looking through the duplicates (after I had already reported a new bug), I found many that had much better descriptions and would have saved me the trouble of filing a new bug. Having some way to look at duplicates as an option in the suggestions list could be helpful as described by Aaron.
