Bug Description

The launchpad page for bleachbit on Ubuntu provides a link to a PPA which is not shown when searching for bleachbit in all PPAs.

Actions executed:
1. Open https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/bleachbit
Scroll down to the end and uncollapse the paragraph "Other versions of 'bleachbit' in untrusted archives."

The third item is
backports-app-19 https://launchpad.net/~linuxmint-tr/+archive/ubuntu/backports-app-19 owned by Linux Mint Türkiye (https://launchpad.net/~linuxmint-tr)
Versions: Bionic (3.0-1~1)

2. Search for bleachbit in all PPAs by opening
https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas?name_filter=bleachbit

You see 8 hits, but linuxmint-tr is not among them.

This is because https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+ppas searches PPA descriptions, not the packages they contain.

Thank you for the explanation.

If the search is for PPA descriptions and not the packages contained, why is then https://launchpad.net/~j0lly/+archive/ubuntu/test listed in the search results for bleachbit?
I can see "bleachbit" nowhere being mentioned in the PPA description, but only as a contained package. This seems inconsistent to me.

Is there any possibility for adding a search facility for packages contained in PPAs - preferably with a possibility to filter for Ubuntu releases? see Bug #1820387
