This sounds good in principle. Remember, we want to add DistroRelease (as a cache-point for all the package versions current at the time of the release) so there will be symmetry between our upstream ProductRelease and the distribution DistroRelease.

I'm quite happy for "Add Release" to disappear from both Distro and Product action menus, and for that to become a "Publish release" wizard on the milestone page which creates a new Product/DistroRelease from that milestone.

Perhaps the milestone-on-trunk-series should be called "future" ? One issue there - I had very much intended to do away with dateless milestones, so that every milestone gets an explicit target date. Please figure out how that gels with "future" on trunk. I would recommend reconsidering having a milestone by default, I don't think it's semantically meaningful in the same way that trunk is meaningful.
