Bug Description

When looking at ".md" suffix files it seems that Launchpad colorizes them as C++, for example:

http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~ubuntuone-pqm-team/markdown/stable/view/head:/README.md

Ideally it should render them to HTML, or at least colorize then as Markdown.
From a chat on the #Launchpad IRC channel there is a suggestion that the 'pygments' package needs upgrading.

This is better now, although the lack of support for reference-style links in Pygments makes that particular file's formatting look pretty basic. I've sent https://bitbucket.org/birkenfeld/pygments-main/pull-requests/753/markdown-add-support-for-reference-style/diff upstream to improve this.
