Bug Description

For Debian packages which have an a LP mailing list set as the maintainer, don't get every email that is sent by the Debian BTS. From what I can see emails are only accepted if the sender of the email has a LP account himself. An example are the openjdk packages.

The goal would be to allow such maintainer addresses.

I wonder if this should be an owner-settable flag on the mailing list or something. It would be nice if mailing list owners could have a few more whitelist/blacklist capabilities.

There are a handful of other packages in Debian presumably impacted by this bug:

I noticed it with epoptes bugs not consistantly landing on the list.

The odd part is, if the bug reporter happens to be using an email address associated with a launchpad account, the message goes through just fine.

Thanks for taking a look into it.
