Bug Description

On https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-raspi2/+archive/ubuntu/ppa-nightly/+sourcepub/6980927/+listing-archive-extra there is:

"diff from 1.20160424.dff5760-2~yakkety1 (in Ubuntu) to 1.20161003.2350bf2-0~nightly (64.0 KiB)" (https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-raspi2/+archive/ubuntu/ppa-nightly/+files/raspberrypi-vc_1.20160424.dff5760-2~yakkety1_1.20161003.2350bf2-0~nightly.diff.gz)

src:raspberrypi-vc 1.20160424.dff5760-2~yakkety1 is definitely not a package in Ubuntu, and as far as I can tell, the former is from some other user's PPA.

PackageDiff.title always says "in $DISTRO" when the two sources' upload archives differ, even when the source is actually from a PPA. The version pair is correct based on where the source was uploaded; it's just incorrectly labelled as official.

Changed in launchpad:
importance: Undecided → Low
status: New → Triaged
summary: - PPA build shows incorrect diff to non-Ubuntu package
