Build silently fails with no log downloadable

Hi,

I tried to get a kernel package built. Before upload, I tested the package build with pbuilder on my local system -> no problem.

Launchpad accepts the upload and starts building. The progress can be seen, as usual. After some minutes, the build silently fails without any informative error message. Even more strange, there is no buildlog available, as usually when package builds fail.

I tried again with a build for Trusty instead of Xenial: https://launchpad.net/~dreibh/+archive/ubuntu/ppa/+build/10727732 . This time, I observed Launchpad's build processing more closely. First, the build was made on machine "lgw01-10". Some minutes later, I noticed "lgw01-10's status:
"Current status

[cleaning] Cleaning"
The build stopped for unknown reason -- it seems to not even appear in the history of "lgw01-10".

Then, Launchpad used "lgw01-06". The same happened here, finally leaving the package in
build status "Failed to build" with no further information or a buildlog.
