I come to launchpad.ubuntu.com, click on the "Log In/Register" link and enter my e-mail address and password. Launchpad congratulates me with "You are now logged in as Scott James Remnant" ... but doesn't give me anything else to do.
The best place to take the user after logging in would appear to be their own page; perhaps with one of those pretty coloured boxes at the top to confirm that they're now logged in. |
Normally, logging in from any Launchpad page (other than the "You are logged out page") returns you to the page you were at. For some reason, this doesn't work on the front page: logging in at <https://launchpad.net/+login> takes you to a page saying "You are now logged in as Scott James Remnant" (or whoever) but doesn't give you anything else to do. |
