Freedesktop remote bugs import error

Bug Description

I have just noticed that if I link a Freedesktop bug to a LaunchPad one that it gives me an error saying it was unable to import the remote bug (like here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libinput/+bug/1586686 and here https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1586683 for instance). It also said I should file a report here to report the problem, so that is what I am doing.
