Remote bug watch - if a bug is marked as duplicate of another, the other should be added to the report

Bug Description
When I report a bug here I tend to also report it upstream and then add a bug watch on the upstream report here. What I have found to be slightly annoying though is that if my upstream bug report is closed as the duplicate of another, the status of the watched bug changes in the report here, but the bug it was closed as a duplicate of does not get added to the report.
So I think that if I file a bug here (1), then another upstream (2), and the upstream one is closed as the duplicate of another bug (3), that bug 1 should automatically put a watch on for bug 3 as well.
