2007-09-07 18:17:27 | Celso Providelo | description | Right now you have to have an Ubuntu release in debian/changelog for PPA to accept your upload. However, Ubuntu is 3/4 packages straight from Debian and it's often the case that we want to test a sync. In this case we merely want to rebuild a Debian source package in an Ubuntu buildd. Therefore, I think it should be possible to upload packages with Debian releases in debian/changelog. | We have to document the PPA feature that allow users to override the suite specified in the debian/changelog via the upload path. {{{ ~<lp_user>/ubuntu/[suite] }}} This would benefit people trying simple debian-syncs in ubuntu. | |
