It looks like the most recent push to that branch went wrong and somehow corrupted Launchpad's copy of it. You'll need someone with an up to date copy to fix the copy on the server.

The question now is how is this state correctly 'reported' correctly to " http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~maria-captains"?

To date all error info indicates that I needed to report both errors [now classed as 'duplicate bugs' to bugs.launchpad.net/

I have simply not seen a means to advise - or report such 'issues' to " http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~maria-captains"

Tracking both errors led to reporting - as I have - here at bugs.launchpad.net?

The two OOPSes you've reported turn out not to be bugs in Launchpad, but corruption in data that is managed by users of Launchpad. You'll need to contact the maintainers of https://launchpad.net/maria and ask them to fix their branch.
