Bug Description
Example email:
مفتوح.ذبابة@
this is a valid email address comprised of both IDN domain and gtld. in addition the username takes advantage of unicode support.
this address is active and can be tested against.
launchpad will not allow me to register it to my account claiming ( erronously) that it is not a valid email.

While the patch connected to this allows usage of manually mangled versions of international domain names, I find that a somewhat hacky solution. If Launchpad is unable to handle them in unmangled forms, I think it would be reasonable to add automatic mangling when adding an e-mail.
