Bug Description

If I accidentally push a branch to the wrong place and then mark it as abandoned so it doesn't show up in "Code", it still shows up in "Latest Code" on the front page of a project, which has been causing confusion among users and other developers.

Sounds like a good idea. You know that you can move the branch after uploading it though, right?

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind—but it wouldn't have helped: the other branch already existed, and I was trying to push to it, but typod a different branch name. Can you remove branches entirely? This has also happened to me with branches that I started intentionally but then actually abandoned, and don't want to show up for other users.

Deleting branches is bug 34540.

You can also reassign branches to the "obsolete-junk" project to get them out of your project.

In any case, the "latest branches" view must be fixed. Setting to High priority because it causes WTFs.
