Acount management in launchpad

I created an account in launchpad because I wanted to help out with Ubuntu Studio but soon realized I was in over my head.

I am completely unable to figure out how to:

1. cancel my account
2. remove myself from the team
3. stop the barrage of emails I am receiving
4. contact any specific person about what to do without posting to an entire list of people

Should I now consider all the email spam and act accordingly? That's not a good solution for anyone. I've spent more than an hour trying to figure these out with no success.

Hello miltonics,

I'm sorry for the inconvenience this caused you.
1. You can't easily remove an account yet due bug 2773;
2. To remove yourself from a team, go to the Leave team page (i.e. https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio/+leave). You can find a link to that page in the left hand side Actions menu, in the team overview page;
3. Stop all emails is bug 44542

I'm duplicating this bug against bug 2773 so a LP admin can proceed on removing your account. Let me know if anything else is needed by replying to this bug report or contacting me on <email address hidden>
