Bug Description

Over the last few years, I've accumulated a lot of detritus on Launchpad. Turns out I have commit privileges on 72 projects: who knew?

What I can't figure out is how many projects I maintain. I don't even know what that should mean exactly (registrant, bug supervisor, security dude?). It would be great to be able to find out which projects I have a certain role for, and then maybe Launchpad can tell me what I'm responsible for doing.

Isn't the related projects list on your home page sufficent?

These are the project you maintain, driver, and supervise
https://launchpad.net/~jml/+related-projects

Commit rights have nothing to do with project registration, that is branch ownership.

Security Contact was removed weeks ago, so I don't think Lp is saying anything about it. Registrant is just that, a record of who registered it.

Changed in launchpad:
status: New → Invalid
status: Invalid → Triaged
importance: Undecided → Low

This bug might be a dupe of bug 1031447. Launchpad does know what projects you have roles with and shows it, but I this question of what you control or have privileges with relates to Cody's question of what does a user or team have access to.

I didn't find https://launchpad.net/~jml/+related-projects when I filed the bug – thanks for the tip. It's not sufficient. It only shows projects from which I am the sole maintainer. It doesn't show projects like https://launchpad.net/pkgme-devportal, for which I am in a team that maintains it.

Curtis, I guess that in Launchpad's code-base, commit access and project registration have nothing to do with each other. However, in my actual day-to-day contribution to software projects, they are often linked together.

https://code.launchpad.net/~jml/+junk/lp-commit-privs has my code for figuring out what I have trunk commit privs for.

No, this is not actually a duplicate.

I want to see projects that I help to maintain. That is, projects for which I'm on a team that maintains or drives.
