Applications randomly crash after upgrading to Kubuntu Beta

The only connection I see between these occurrences is I was 'doing something' in the app at the time.
Such as with firefox, Konqueror, Dolphin, what manages the desktop(slips my mind)... From Tribe 4 on there were fewer bugs!
I thought I had made some mistake in configuration last week, so I reinstalled on Friday and somehow it got worse.
The second most annoying part is Crash Handler doesn't notice.
I believe it began on the last Kernel upgrade.

It's random enough that I can't pinpoint it, but it began around that time.

I seems to have the same problem. Where can I find my log file? I've been using fiesty (64bit) without any problem and now migrating to gutsy 64 seems to be not a good idea but I like it. I disable all desktop enhancement but the problems is still there.
