Bug Description

An upstream hosted on Launchpad may reasonably want to use launchpad-integration to point at their own project resources. Currently, this is impossible, as the ubuntu/+source URLs are hard-coded.

Seems like it should be possible, with maybe a tiny API addition.

+1. I have been meaning on reworking this into a "libupstream" or similar that could be used by upstreams - so we can drop all the patches which would be nice. I talked to Ryan Lortie about if this is appropriate in GApplication. He needs some convincing though.

Is it really true that I cannot to link the "translate this app" to my projects launchpad page currently with LaunchpadIntegration?

Michael Terry (mterry) wrote :

Jack, correct. As a workaround until this gets added, it's generally easy enough to make the menu yourself and link to your own launchpad project when they are clicked.

Quite annoying bug, already had a bug report about this, too: https://bugs.launchpad.net/uberwriter/+bug/1041438

(quickly project, so not really directly "ubuntu" related, I really would like it better to have bugs and questions on my launchpad project.)

Now I need to fix that manually ...
