peers don't see each other correctly

I was comparing Lanshark with similar software and encountered this problem.

2 PC's
A = Windows XP SP3
B = Windows 7

A did see itself and B
B did only see itself (no A)

When I exited Lanshark on B, A still showed B

Both PCs were NOT running any firewall software and were connected using an ethernet switch.

I used the latest version of Lanshark.

I guess that's no good. Somehow where must be more agressive peer detection and updating. Maybe even using two different methods.
