Bug Description
My boot time went from ~25s to about 40 sec. That's bad. bootchart says landscape-* programs are eating a lot of disk IO.
Whatever it's doing probably isn't urgent. It would be really nice if it didn't affect my system in any way I can notice.
In the init file, please use some combination of
--nicelevel int
--iosched class:priority
to make landscape clients less intrusive.
There's also
--chuid username|uid
so you can get rid of that "sudo" too.

Please would you elaborate on the possible cause of the boot time going from 25 to 40 secs? Was it in consequence of installing the landscape-client package from scratch or upgrading it?
Thanks for reporting and for the hints.
